Use of cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on visitors' computers, making it possible to track what each visitor does on the website.

There are two types of cookies.
1. A persistent cookie remains on the visitor's computer until it is removed.
2. A session cookie is stored temporarily on a computer's memory, but removed when the visitor leaves the website and closes the browser.

Cookies are used on Lnu.se for some internal functions, e.g., statistics and our publishing system. Personal information, such as emails or names, is never stored.

If you do not accept that cookies are used, go to your browser's security settings and choose to disable cookies.

You can also set your browser to alert you each time a website tries to place a cookie on your computer. You can also delete previously stored cookies through your browser – see your browser's help pages for more information.

The Swedish Post and Telecom Agency, the supervising authority for the field, leaves further information about cookies on their  website.
