Application of information technologies for effective training in environmental engineering

Abstract

The system of high education in Ukraine is under restructuring now, New social and
economical conditions require implementation of new approach and technologies on all levels
of training process, The main aim of our laboratory is application of information technologies
for effective training in environmental engineering for all levels - bachelor, master,
postgraduate students,
Implementation of information computer technologies into study process includes different
stages:
• introduction new and update and/or transformation exist special training courses due to
cooperation and interaction between Academy, Environmental Engineering Department
and employers;
• special training for lecturer and teaching staff with the aim of improving professional
skills and distribution of information about the best Ukrainian and international practice;
• support of scientific and research activity in environmental engineering,
On the basis of laboratory will organize the practical trainings and individual works for course
and degree projects and papers preparation with application of professional-oriented software,
Internet, GIS, etc, for the students specializing in environmental engineering,
